The NEAD Insurance Trust is a non-profit organization established by the Massachusetts State Automobile Dealers Association (MSADA) in 1950. In the following years, the NEAD Insurance Trust has expanded its services and its membership throughout New England, and has also revised its eligible membership to include other segments of the Automotive Industry. The NEAD Insurance Trust currently administers Disability, Vision, and Life Insurance.

As a rule, the NEAD Insurance Trust encourages availing the assistance of insurance brokers.

Currently the NEAD Insurance Trust offers Life Insurance through the Standard, and Dental and Vision through Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

These programs are administered by Transurance Inc. of Hartford Ct. on behalf of the NEAD Insurance Trust.

All plans are fully insured; there is no self funding or partially self funding involved with any plans offered through the Trust.
